Why Your Support Matters
Right to Remain Informed is built by one person — a father in Lafayette, Louisiana, working nights after his kids go to bed. What started as a local tool has proven that people everywhere need accessible legal education.
Your donation directly funds:
- Server Infrastructure: Keeping the platform fast, secure, and accessible 24/7 to users nationwide
- Legal Research: Ensuring every statute, citation, and legal script is accurate for each state
- State Expansion: Adapting modules for additional states beyond Louisiana (Texas, Ohio, Mississippi, Alabama launching 2026)
- Enhanced Features: Secure cloud backup, timeline builders, case strength analysis, automated report generation
- Quality Assurance: Testing with real users to ensure the platform works when people need it most
If this platform gave you peace of mind, helped you know your rights, or saved you from a legal mistake — please consider supporting it.

🌱 How We're Growing
What started as a Louisiana-only resource has already reached users in Ohio, Texas, and beyond. People are finding us because they need help — and your support lets us meet that need with accurate, state-specific legal education.
Current Progress (February 2026):
- Phase 1: Louisiana modules fully operational (Know Your Stop, TenantGuard, After the Crash, When Disaster Strikes)
- Phase 2: Multi-state expansion research underway (Texas, Ohio, Mississippi, Alabama)
- Phase 3: Enhanced features in development (secure cloud storage, evidence timeline builder)
Legal literacy shouldn't be a luxury — it should be a right. Your support doesn't just pay for servers; it gives people the knowledge and confidence to protect themselves when it matters most.

We use anonymous analytics (no personal data) to understand which states need legal education resources most. Your usage helps us prioritize where to build next.
If you're from outside Louisiana: Using the site validates demand in your state. We're building based on where people actually need help — not guessing.
See our Privacy Policy for details on what data we collect (spoiler: very little) and how we use it.
💙 Thank You
Every contribution helps Americans understand and protect their legal rights. Together, we're building a more informed and empowered society — one person at a time.
